Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy framework, identifying emerging trends with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions in quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies for collaborative innovation
- Translate complex technological concepts into compelling business cases for executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Represent Nexus at global tech forums, publishing thought leadership on paradigm-shifting technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech product development
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, neurotech, or sustainable systems engineering
- Proven track record of launching technology roadmaps with measurable market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological adoption curves
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, Tokyo, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
