Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype 2026-era consumer and enterprise applications
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous system governance
- Forge strategic partnerships with hardware manufacturers and research institutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental technology incubation
- Author thought leadership papers on technological singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic engineering
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology Review preferred
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from concept to market deployment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Security clearance for government-contract work a plus
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating minimum three commercialized innovations
