Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, AGI precursors)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry disruptions and competitive threats
- Translate complex tech concepts into compelling business cases for executive stakeholders
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and technology adoption curves
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, IEEE Future Directions)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (demonstrated via published reports or patents)
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Experience building innovation pipelines with Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
