Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech integration, decentralized AI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype scalable solutions with 5-year market impact
- Analyze global tech policy shifts to position company at regulatory forefront
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present future tech frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D budget allocation for experimental technologies
- Mentor junior engineers in next-gen development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable infrastructure
- Proven track record of launching tech initiatives with $10M+ budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals on future tech trends
- Experience with global tech policy frameworks (GDPR, CMMC, etc.)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
