Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI ethics, quantum applications, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee R&D budgets exceeding $50M for future-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Proven experience with AI/ML implementation at enterprise scale
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Published thought leadership in future technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
