Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year strategic roadmap for emerging technologies (2026-2029)
- Lead market research and competitive analysis in quantum AI, biotech integration, and decentralized systems
- Architect innovation frameworks for sustainable tech adoption and circular economy implementation
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-gen solutions with 10+ year scalability
- Present technology visions to investors, regulators, and industry consortia
- Mentor technical teams in future-proof architecture and ethical AI development
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI in emerging markets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with >$100M impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Experience securing federal grants for experimental tech initiatives
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
