- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling business cases
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major industry conferences
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for R&D
- Strong understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Fluency in Mandarin or German preferred for global partnerships
