Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps across quantum computing, AI governance, and synthetic biology
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions addressing climate resilience and ethical AI
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and stakeholder validation of emerging tech
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and industry thought leadership forums
- Build and mentor a cross-functional innovation team focused on future-readiness
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical compliance frameworks affecting 2026+ deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technologies (preferred)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Technology Impact Assessment
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
