Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and disruptor assessments in global tech ecosystems
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation grants and startup incubation programs
- Build thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conference keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or Engineering (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation ecosystems
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech communities
- Published thought leader in technology futurism or innovation strategy
