Responsibilities
- Analyze and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for commercial viability by 2026
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory shifts affecting innovation
- Build and mentor a team of future technology specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, or spatial computing
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
