Responsibilities

- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their impact on commercialization strategies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and public-private partnerships
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier publications
- Fluency in at least one programming language and data visualization tools
