Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with company vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum computing, AR/VR convergence, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for R&D initiatives
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Future Leaders program
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global tech conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record launching future-focused products/services post-2020
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology forecasting
