Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and metaverse integration across industries
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Advise C-suite on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech convergence
- Present strategic frameworks at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants for experimental tech initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products
- Expertise in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, or spatial computing
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (or equivalent experience)
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, or global innovation ecosystems
