Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate next-gen solutions for climate resilience, human augmentation, and decentralized systems
- Analyze global tech trends, patent landscapes, and geopolitical factors to identify competitive advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Manage a $15M innovation portfolio, prioritizing projects with exponential impact potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and establish thought leadership through industry keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex multi-variable scenarios
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or policy impact
- Fluency in scenario planning tools and futures research methodologies
