- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Partner with policy advisors to shape ethical frameworks for emerging innovations
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members using data-driven narratives
- Manage portfolio of moonshot projects with exponential growth potential
- Author thought leadership pieces published in Nature and MIT Technology Review
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years strategy experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep understanding of exponential tech trends and their societal implications
- Experience managing $1M+ budgets and cross-disciplinary technical teams
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major industry conferences
- Strong network within DARPA, NASA, or similar innovation ecosystems
