Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and business objectives
- Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives through compelling data-driven narratives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future technology concepts
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive innovation workshops to foster creative thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing technology investments
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research communities
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
