Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive tech trends for commercialization opportunities
- Develop 2026+ innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into core business strategy
- Manage cross-functional R&D projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Present future tech vision to investors, clients, and industry stakeholders
- Drive sustainable tech initiatives to meet ESG 2030 targets
- Mentor junior strategists in futurism methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience managing global remote teams and cross-cultural projects
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (patents, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
