Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their commercial applications
- Create and maintain a 2026 technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop implementation frameworks for new technologies
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology assessment and adoption
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Experience building cross-functional innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or conferences
