Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology trend analysis to identify disruptive innovations with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging technology adoption across product lines and operational frameworks
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align technology initiatives with business objectives and market demands
- Build and maintain partnerships with leading research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with detailed impact assessments and implementation frameworks
- Monitor competitive intelligence and regulatory landscapes to anticipate barriers and opportunities
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership, patent strategy development, and talent acquisition
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing at least two emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global organizations and diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong network within innovation ecosystems (VCs, accelerators, research institutions)
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
