- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate disruptive solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify paradigm-shifting trends and threats
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI implementation and quantum-safe systems
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Establish governance protocols for emerging tech adoption in regulated industries
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Certifications in futures thinking (e.g., CFP, Foresight Practitioner) or technology strategy
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology Review within the last 5 years
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
