Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) with transformative potential
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for technology integration across global industries
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and scale breakthrough innovations
- Secure $10M+ in strategic partnerships and venture capital for experimental initiatives
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of radical innovation
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies ($50M+ impact)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or bio-convergence
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology transformation
