Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge R&D projects in emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop prototype solutions for climate resilience and AI governance frameworks
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Mentor PhD fellows and cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
- Present findings at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or neural network optimization
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud-based HPC environments
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Strong ethical AI background with familiarity with EU AI Act guidelines
- Experience with interdisciplinary collaboration between tech and policy sectors
