The Role:
As the Future Tech Strategy Director, you will bridge the gap between abstract futurism and actionable business intelligence. You will analyze emerging trends to build a 5-year strategic plan that aligns with our core mission of sustainable innovation.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Foresight: Lead the creation of the company's 2026 and 2030 strategic roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies that could impact our industry.
- Policy Development: Draft and implement internal governance policies for emerging technologies, specifically focusing on AI safety and data privacy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present complex futuristic concepts to the C-Suite and Board of Directors to secure buy-in for high-risk, high-reward initiatives.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor global tech ecosystems to detect early signals of paradigm shifts in automation and neural interfaces.
- Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with academic institutions and research labs to stay ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, or Technology Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of current AI trends and the ability to forecast their future application.
