Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Analyze emerging tech trends through predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for strategic innovation initiatives
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Partner with academic institutions for cutting-edge research collaboration
- Drive ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech forecasting
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Proficiency in Python, R, and predictive modeling frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures
