Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess market readiness
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advise on regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent
- Experience with ethics committees and tech governance frameworks
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation institutions
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
