Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying emerging trends with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-gen technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, bioinformatics)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position company at the vanguard of technological disruption
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through data-driven narratives
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Establish ethical frameworks and governance protocols for emerging technology adoption
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends and translating them to business value
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or immersive realities
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong network within tech innovation communities, including research institutions and venture capital
- Certification in technology foresight, innovation management, or strategic planning (e.g., CFTE, CIMP) highly valued
