Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence) and their commercial applications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech insights into corporate strategy and innovation pipelines
- Build and manage a global network of industry experts, academic partners, and venture capitalists
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and competitive disruption scenarios
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and tech foresight practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or future-tech research
- Proven track record of launching or scaling disruptive tech initiatives (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and market trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems and convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or equivalent experience
- Experience leading global teams and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
