Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and sustainable innovation ecosystems
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding and strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 firms
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, TED Talks) positioning Nexus as a 2026 tech pioneer
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in emerging technology adoption
- Drive innovation sprints with NASA, DARPA, and EU Horizon Europe collaborators
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation at Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism from a Tier-1 institution
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies from prototype to market (quantum/AI/sustainability focus)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Published author or keynote speaker on future-of-work and human-tech symbiosis topics
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or German for global stakeholder engagement
