Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields: generative AI, quantum algorithms, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate technological innovation into core business functions
- Build and manage a high-performance innovation lab with $10M+ annual budget
- Represent Nexus at global tech forums (CES, Web Summit, etc.) to establish thought leadership
- Mentor talent in emerging technologies through internal fellowship programs
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia and industry leaders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience scaling tech teams across global markets
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and sustainable innovation
