Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year tech strategy aligned with 2026 industry trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech integration)
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech investments with ESG and sustainability goals
- Identify and assess emerging tech startups for potential acquisition/partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to executive boards and investor stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist research team
- Author whitepapers on technology's societal impact for industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Certification in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent preferred
- Experience leading cross-geography tech transformation projects
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals/conferences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business
