Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead scenario planning for emerging tech adoption across 15+ industry verticals
- Conduct competitive analysis of global tech ecosystems and patent landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage a $10M innovation portfolio including incubation and acceleration programs
- Build and lead a specialized team of futurists, data scientists, and industry analysts
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning, innovation management, or consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating complex tech trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Experience with foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Exceptional communication with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
