Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026 horizon) to identify strategic opportunities and threats
- Develop cross-functional technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype 5G+, quantum AI, and neural interfaces
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Build partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and venture capital labs
- Author thought leadership on future tech disruption for industry publications
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience forecasting tech disruptions (e.g., blockchain, metaverse)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio of published tech forecasts or implemented innovation strategies
