Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and scalable technology adoption
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into existing ecosystems
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and lead a world-class R&D team of futurists and engineers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI/ML, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Strong background in venture capital, corporate innovation, or tech incubation
