Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology adoption frameworks for quantum AI, neural interfaces, and climate modeling systems
- Lead cross-functional squads in prototyping bleeding-edge solutions with 3x faster iteration cycles
- Establish ethical governance protocols for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants from DARPA, NSF, and private innovation funds
- Present future-tech roadmaps to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor 15+ engineers and designers in exponential technology principles
- Monitor global tech disruption vectors and recommend preemptive pivots
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of scaling R&D from concept to market with $10M+ budgets
- Deep expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Executive presence with experience briefing Fortune 500 boards and government agencies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering (PhD preferred)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain (for government partnerships)
