Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, nanotech) with 5-10 year horizon impact
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives for 2026+ initiatives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption
- Build and maintain technology foresight framework for the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- 12+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with strategic frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio of published thought leadership in tech futurism
