Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-focused solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption
- Mentor emerging talent in strategic innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or biotech
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, CFT) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
