Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and drive the technical roadmap for the 2026 product suite, prioritizing R&D initiatives that align with business growth.
- Tech Visionary Leadership: Identify emerging trends and disruptive technologies (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing) and evaluate their potential integration into our core platforms.
- R&D Oversight: Manage a portfolio of experimental projects, ensuring they move from proof-of-concept to pilot programs within strict timeframes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, design, and engineering to translate high-level strategic goals into technical requirements.
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analysis of competitor technologies and market shifts to keep Nebula Horizon ahead of the curve.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical strategies to non-technical leadership, securing buy-in and resources for critical initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in a senior technical leadership role, with a focus on product strategy and future tech.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of software architecture, AI/ML frameworks, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to think 5-10 years ahead and translate long-term visions into short-term actionable plans.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience managing high-performing engineering teams and fostering a culture of innovation.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where the goalposts may shift as new technologies emerge.
