Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 3-year market impact projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate technological disruptions and competitive threats through 2030
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms for emerging tech incubation
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite stakeholders, translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Maintain technology radar tracking 200+ emerging startups and patent landscapes
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and future-tech workshops
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with proven track record of scaling emerging technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-interfaces
- Published thought leadership on technological forecasting (IEEE/MIT/Forbes contributions preferred)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies with PhD preferred
- Experience leading teams of 15+ technical professionals across multiple geographies
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, international frameworks)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies with ability to model complex system interactions
- Proficiency in AI-driven innovation tools (e.g., Trendscope, Futurist Suite)
