Responsibilities
- Lead ideation and development of futuristic tech prototypes (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR)
- Partner with R&D to commercialize innovations with 3-5 year market horizons
- Drive strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and research institutions
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget and vendor ecosystems
- Identify and mitigate ethical/regulatory risks in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record launching market-first technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- Published research in IEEE/ACM or equivalent journals
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and lean startup principles
- Strong network within tech venture capital and academic institutions
