Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Future Systems Architect to define the technological roadmap for the year 2026 and beyond. At Horizon 2026, we are building the infrastructure for tomorrow, today. You will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient, and adaptive systems that leverage next-generation AI, quantum computing readiness, and edge architecture.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between abstract future concepts and concrete engineering solutions. You will work with elite engineers to prototype the technologies that will power the world in 2026, ensuring our platforms are not just functional, but revolutionary.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design next-generation distributed systems with a focus on scalability, security, and future-proofing.
- Lead the R&D strategy for integrating AI-driven automation and predictive analytics into core infrastructure.
- Define technical standards and best practices for the engineering team to ensure long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with product leaders to translate futuristic business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., quantum-ready stacks, advanced neural networks) to stay ahead of the curve.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, full-stack development, and systems engineering.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical transformations and delivering complex projects on time.
- Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, data lakes, and high-availability systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical visions to diverse stakeholders.
