Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ technological inflection points
- Lead discovery labs exploring next-gen paradigms (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with business transformation goals
- Build and mentor interdisciplinary teams of futurists, engineers, and domain experts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities across sectors
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical tech governance and adoption
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 scale impact
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation journals
