We are seeking a visionary Director of Future Technology Strategy to lead our organization into the next decade. Responsibilities
- Define and execute the long-term technology vision for the organization, specifically targeting breakthroughs relevant to the 2026 timeline.
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, and spatial computing, to assess viability and ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype and pilot new technologies that enhance product capabilities and user experience.
- Build and manage a network of industry partners, startups, and academic institutions to stay ahead of the curve.
- Advocate for a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and risk-taking within the engineering and product departments.
- Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and persuasion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, with at least 3 years in a strategy or innovation capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing disruptive technologies in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud architecture, and data analytics.
- Exceptional strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate high-level concepts into actionable business plans.
- Experience leading high-performance teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Relevant advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration is a plus.
