Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including warehouse management and distribution networks
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements using Lean methodologies
- Collaborate with executive leadership on operational KPIs and growth initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry regulations
- Drive digital transformation projects within operations infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive operations management experience
- Proven track record in logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred)
- Exceptional leadership and team development abilities
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to relocate or already based in Houston metropolitan area
