Responsibilities
- Process daily payroll transactions for 200+ clients using proprietary software
- Verify and reconcile payroll data against timekeeping systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage employee payroll inquiries with exceptional service standards
- Generate monthly payroll reports and financial summaries
- Collaborate with HR departments on payroll policy implementation
- Train new clients on daily pay processes and benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll software
- Strong understanding of FLSA and Tennessee labor laws
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Proven problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing preferred
