Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional and over-the-road routes.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) logs and delivery records.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Ensure the cargo area is secure and protected from weather and damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience (Hazmat/Tanker endorsements a plus).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight delivery deadlines.
