Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems
- Develop simulation environments for real-world autonomous scenarios
- Optimize machine learning models for edge deployment in IoT ecosystems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum-adjacent computing solutions
- Lead prototyping of next-gen sensor fusion technologies
- Contribute to patent development for novel autonomous system architectures
- Mentor junior engineers in emerging AI frameworks
Qualifications
- Masters in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in autonomous systems or AI/ML engineering
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and ROS 2.0 frameworks
- Published research in reinforcement learning or computer vision
- Experience with real-time operating systems and edge computing
- Strong understanding of ethical AI deployment frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating complex autonomous system implementations
- Ability to secure US government clearance (if applicable)
