Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional projects in quantum-enhanced AI optimization
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier AI journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI development practices
- Collaborate with product teams to translate research into commercial applications
- Secure $5M+ in annual research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field (2019-2024)
- 3+ years of industry experience with transformer models and reinforcement learning
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers in NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Strong background in ethics and bias mitigation for AI systems
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
