Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year AI roadmaps aligning with emerging technological trends post-2025
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI applications (neural networks, quantum algorithms)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies in biotech, space exploration, and climate AI
- Present strategic innovation briefings to C-suite and venture partners
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership publications on AI's societal impact by 2030
Qualifications
- PhD in AI/ML or equivalent with 8+ years in applied research
- Published work on quantum computing or neural interfaces
- Proven track record leading teams that shipped transformative AI products
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Experience with ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research communities
- Ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio of 3+ patented AI innovations
