As part of our AI Ethics Council, you'll pioneer proactive governance strategies that anticipate future challenges while maintaining innovation velocity. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ethical considerations into every phase of the AI lifecycle, from algorithm design to deployment and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models using advanced statistical analysis
- Partner with legal teams to ensure compliance with evolving AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Create transparency protocols for explainable AI (XAI) deployment in high-stakes domains
- Lead stakeholder engagement workshops to build consensus on ethical AI principles
- Monitor global AI policy developments and translate regulatory requirements into operational guidelines
- Design continuous improvement processes for ethical AI performance metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Public Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI governance, responsible AI, or tech ethics roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for ML models and algorithmic fairness frameworks
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes and emerging standards
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable business policies
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification, Google Responsible AI) strongly preferred
- Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management in tech environments
