Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments using advanced statistical modeling
- Develop AI transparency protocols for high-stakes decision-making systems
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into ML pipelines
- Represent the company in global AI ethics forums (OECD, IEEE, etc.)
- Create audit trails and explainability documentation for regulatory compliance
- Lead cross-functional workshops on responsible AI deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, ethics, or compliance with regulated industries
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics (e.g., AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Experience with MLOps pipelines and model versioning systems
- Published research in AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
